End of Term Round Up
Where did that go? It seems only days ago that we were in the church watching our youngest children presenting their nativity play and here we are with the Easter weekend upon us. I am sure many of you enjoyed Wednesday’s assemblies. The children performed with great confidence and, just as important, appeared to be enjoying every second in the spotlight. Such occasions are excellent for building self-confidence. They also contribute to the school’s sense of community and it was lovely to see so many parents and other family members in attendance. Next term will be a very busy one. There are very many important school events to look forward to and I am sure we are all hoping for the type of summer weather that makes these occasions particularly enjoyable. I hope to come to many of them but my role this year is very much about strategic leadership and support. I am more than happy to leave the excellent Mrs Hodson in charge of the day-to-day running of the school.
I will take this opportunity to wish you all a happy and relaxing Easter break. I know for some of you the holiday weekend will mean work but whatever commitments you have, I hope you have the opportunity to spend some time together with family and friends.
