End of term Round Up

We are at the end of the Autumn term! I can’t believe how fast this term has gone, it feels like only yesterday that our new Gemstones started with us!

Thank you so much for all your wonderful support this term. Once again you have shown how dedicated you are to our school and to your children’s learning.

This term has been very busy and I just wanted to take some time to celebrate some of the wonderful things the children have been involved with:

· 11 new Gemstones started and settled in very quickly!

· We made £209.98 commission from the Tempest school photographs.

· We held a very successful Macmillan Coffee Afternoon in which we raised £250.

· Year 5 and 6 had a very successful Bikeability.

· Grandparent Harvest Assembly was well attended and the grandparents and children really enjoyed taking part in the Harvest crafts.

· The Spooky bingo and Halloween disco raised £438.55. We have already used this money to purchase a new spelling scheme for Year 2-6. There will be a parent meeting in the new year to launch this!

· We have launched our new topics with great success. Please see the website for photos!

· We raised £136 for Children In Need, including money from Emerald’s World Kitchen Event.

· From your donations we made £91 on the chocolate tombola at the Village Christmas Market.

· We raised £45 for Save the Children with our Christmas Jumper day!

· Our fabulous Christmas Fair raised £846. Thank you so much for all the donations, help and time that went into making it such a successful event!
