Village Fete


So tomorrow is Pratts Bottom Village Fete … despite the weather forecast it will go ahead and it will be magnificent! The parade starts at Broke Farm Recreation Ground leaving at 11:30am and the May Queens will be crowned once they reach the village green. They will then offically declare the Fete open around 12noon-ish. There is a Punch & Judy show, Tombolas galore, Splat-the-Rat, Loo Lobbing, football games, Horsey Hopper races, Pot of Gold, Hog Roast, Burger van, plant stalls, a brilliant book stall, tea & cakes, card stalls, cake stalls, Country Dancing, gymnastic displays, a dog compettion – bring your pooch! Literally something for everyone – not to mention an amazing raffle with loads of super prizes … be there or be square as they used to say! If you live in the village decorate the outside of your house there will be a prize for the ‘Best Dressed House’! If you have a drive please make sure you park your cars on it and possibly offer your friends to park there too as parking throughout the village will be at a premium to say the least! I shall be on our School Bottle Tombola Stall along with other staff members do come and have a go on our stall and say hello to us!
