Another super week!

Another super week started with our temporarily suspended Gardening Club enjoying a fab ‘pizza–making workshop treat’ using ingredients they had grown (and frozen) – the yummy results were taken home to be relished by all the family! Well done and thank you guys, Mrs Ovenden and Mrs Freestone (senior) we all really appreciate everything you do to keep our school looking lovely!

We finished the week off with 36 pupils, several staff members and lots of wonderful parents, grandparents and younger siblings taking a stroll down to the Bull’s Head this morning, where the children’s Winter Artwork is on display. We had the whole place to ourselves and everyone enjoyed looking at the different styles and artistic techniques that each other had used to create their piece and then we all sat down for delicious cake and drinks – a marvellous treat for all! Thank you so much to Michelle who looked after us so well at the pub and to Andy & Chris (pub managers) whose idea it was in the first place! A real village community project. Our new vicar Rev.Ruth is so impressed that she has already asked us to do something similar at Easter for All Souls Church – so watch out for that!
