Tuesday 17th April at 2pm Mr Linnett and I will be hosting a Maths workshop for parents. The aim is to provide you with information about the Maths curriculum and the different procedures children are learning. This should then help you to support your children at home with their maths learning.
We are excited to announce Pratts Bottom’s new catering supplier. The team at Nourish will take over from 1st of April. It was a legal requirement for the school to retender the catering contract and after an extensive selection process we are confident that Nourish will continue to provide all our children with balanced quality meals sourced from only the best ingredients. Please ensure we are considerate to each other when parking and driving past the school. This week there was a near miss with a child. Don’t forget you are able to park at the Bull’s Head car park and walk down. Your child can earn their SMART movers badge by walking to school this way!
Monday-Egg competition entries are due in Tuesday– Please send in donations of chocolate eggs for the Easter Egg Hunt. Wednesday- Emerald and Gemstones Assembly will be held at 9.00am. Ruby and Sapphire Assembly will be held at 3.00pm Thursday– Easter Egg Hunt
Thank you for the support everyone has shown to Sports Relief this week. The children have walked or run a mile a day and enjoyed the support from their spectators! Children will be coming home with a certificate today. Please send back the sponsor forms and money as soon as possible.

This week Sapphire braced the cold and the snow and headed for our residential trip
to Windmill Hill. When we arrived, we met our leader (the wonderful Pixie) and she
showed us to our cabins to unpack – always teaching the children new songs as she
went. Our first activities were archery and trapeze. The children showed real bravery when
taking a leap of faith of an 8m high pole and displayed skill and precision when aiming
This week has been a rather challenging week for all, what with changing weather forecasts, freezing conditions and no catering staff. I am so proud of how the staff and children have managed to adapt this week and would like to take the time to say a huge thank you to everyone for going the extra mile . A big thank you goes to Mr Hudson our Chair of Governors who helped with lunch on Wednesday!
