Governing Body

Mr Peter Ioannou
My daughter is a pupil at Pratts Bottom and I wanted to become more involved in working towards helping all children achieve their full potential. I believe Pratts Bottom offers the environment to achieve this. I am committed to working with the School to add value where I can and specifically with the Resources Committee.
Chair of Governors & Parent Governor

Mr Brian Ford
I have lived in the Borough of Bromley since 2008 and am relishing the opportunity to serve as a Governor, as I have two children attending Pratts Bottom Primary School. Being involved in supporting the school from a strategic perspective is something I am looking forward to. I am grateful to be able to help the school that provides our children and community with key core values.
Vice Chair of Governors and Parent Governor

Mrs Sophie Perez
I have worked at Pratts Bottom for seven years now and have thoroughly enjoyed my time so far. There is such a wonderful community here and the children are so supportive of one other. When the opportunity arose to be become a staff governor, I jumped at the chance. I look forward to helping the school grow even further and continuing to provide all the opportunities we can for the children.
Staff Governor

Mrs Cheryl Bone
My name is Cheryl Bone. I was originally elected as a parent governor and am in my second term (and 8th year) as a governor on the board. Being a governor enables me to support the school in a strategic role, which I am fully committed to do and enjoy as well.
Co-Opted Governor

Mrs Emel Ibrahim
I have been a class teacher for over thirty years, mostly teaching in London schools. In January 2019, I retired, but still wanted to have links to education, hence becoming a governor at Pratts Bottom Primary School. I have taught in KS1 and 2, as well as being a subject leader for literacy and humanities. I am looking forward to working with everyone at Pratts Bottom Primary school: to move the school forward and to ensure that the children have the best possible start to their educational learning.
Co-Opted Governor

Councillor Angela Page
I have lived in the London Borough of Bromley for most of my life, the last 29 years of which I have lived in Orpington.
In 2014, I was elected for the first time as a ward councillor in the Cray Valley East Ward and then in 2018 moved to the Chelsfield & Pratts Bottom Ward. The role of ward councillor enables me to give something back to the community and services that have supported me and my children over the years. My daughter and son went to local schools and both have gone on to have good careers as a teacher and a banker. This wouldn’t have happened without the quality of education they received.
Co-Opted Governor

Mrs Keeley Bentley
I have two daughters at Pratts Bottom Primary School and a son due to start in September 2020. I am passionate about our school and excited to be able to help shape its future, ensuring it continues to help pupils achieve their full potential and follow their dreams.
Parent Governor

Mrs Sharon Hynes
I have a daughter at the school and feel passionately that all our children should receive the best quality education. As a psychodynamic counsellor I am also interested in the psychological and emotional wellbeing of our children in the school environment. I am committed to being an active member of the governing body to ensure our school's continued success.
